Article R6152-302 of the French Public Health Code

All candidates for this competition must meet the following conditions:

1° Either meet the conditions required for practising the profession of doctor, dental surgeon or pharmacist under articles L. 4111-1 and L. 4221-1 and present :

a) either the postgraduate diploma or certificate of specialisation qualifying them to practise the speciality applied for ;

b) or the equivalence of the qualifying third-cycle specialisation certificate corresponding to the speciality applied for, issued by order of the Minister responsible for higher education; or

c) Or the professional qualification corresponding to the speciality applied for;

d) Or a diploma, certificate or other specialist qualification issued by one of the Member States of the European Community or a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area;

2° Or be authorised to practise the profession of doctor, dental surgeon or pharmacist, where applicable by speciality, pursuant to articles L. 4111-2, L. 4131-1-1, L. 4141-3-1, L. 4221-12, L. 4221-14-1, L. 4221-14-2, L. 6213-3, the first sentence of 1° of article L. 6213-2 or article 60 of law no. 99-641 of 27 July 1999 creating universal health cover.

In all the cases listed in the previous paragraph, the candidate must provide proof of registration on the roll of the professional association.

Where there is no diploma, certificate or other qualification corresponding to one of the specialities offered in the competition, an order of the ministers responsible for higher education and health sets the conditions for registration in this speciality.

The nature of the supporting documents to be produced by the candidate is set by order of the minister responsible for health.

Tout candidat à ce concours doit remplir les conditions suivantes :

1° Soit remplir les conditions requises pour l’exercice de la profession de médecin, de chirurgien-dentiste ou de pharmacien en application des articles L. 4111-1 et L. 4221-1 et présenter :

a) Soit le diplôme ou certificat de spécialisation de troisième cycle qualifiant permettant l’exercice de la spécialité postulée ;

b) Soit l’équivalence du certificat de spécialisation de troisième cycle qualifiant correspondant à la spécialité postulée délivrée par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’enseignement supérieur ;

c) Soit la qualification ordinale correspondant à la spécialité postulée ;

d) Soit un diplôme, certificat ou autre titre de spécialiste délivré par un des Etats membres de la Communauté européenne ou partie à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen ;

2° Soit être autorisé à exercer la profession de médecin, chirurgien-dentiste ou pharmacien, le cas échéant par spécialité, en application des articles L. 4111-2, L. 4131-1-1, L. 4141-3-1, L. 4221-12, L. 4221-14-1, L. 4221-14-2, L. 6213-3, de la première phrase du 1° de l’article L. 6213-2 ou de l’article 60 de la loi n° 99-641 du 27 juillet 1999 portant création d’une couverture maladie universelle.

Dans tous les cas énumérés à l’alinéa précédent, le candidat doit justifier d’une inscription au tableau de l’ordre professionnel.

Lorsqu’il n’existe ni diplôme, ni certificat, ni autre titre correspondant à une des spécialités offertes au concours, un arrêté des ministres chargés de l’enseignement supérieur et de la santé fixe les conditions retenues pour l’inscription dans cette spécialité.

La nature des pièces justificatives à produire par le candidat est fixée par arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé.
