Article R6152-35-1 of the French Public Health Code

Unpaid family solidarity leave is granted under the conditions set out in articles L. 3142-6 to L. 3142-15 of the French Labour Code and the regulatory provisions adopted for their application to hospital practitioners whose ascendant, descendant or a person sharing their home is receiving palliative care.

The duration of this leave is treated as a period of actual service. It cannot be deducted from annual leave.

Un congé non rémunéré de solidarité familiale est accordé dans les conditions prévues aux articles L. 3142-6 à L. 3142-15 du code du travail et aux dispositions réglementaires prises pour leur application au praticien hospitalier dont un ascendant, un descendant ou une personne partageant son domicile fait l’objet de soins palliatifs.

La durée de ce congé est assimilée à une période de services effectifs. Elle ne peut être imputée sur la durée du congé annuel.
