Assistants may, with their agreement, be made available to a health cooperation group or a social and medico-social cooperation group of which their employing establishment is a member.
This secondment is decided by the director of the establishment, after signature of an agreement between the health cooperation group and the establishment or between the social and medico-social cooperation group and the establishment, following the opinion of the head of the division or, failing this, the head of the department, the functional unit or any other internal structure and the chairman of the establishment’s medical committee.
This agreement specifies in particular the duration of the secondment as well as the conditions of employment and reintegration into the public health establishment of origin. It provides for the reimbursement of the remuneration and related costs of the assistant concerned by either the healthcare cooperation group or the social and medico-social cooperation group. It may, however, provide for total or partial exemption from this reimbursement when the secondment is made to a health cooperation group or a social and medico-social cooperation group.
