At the end of the selection process and where there are still vacancies for interns or residents, students in the third cycle of medical and pharmacy studies and former residents who have just completed their course may, at their request, complete an additional semester, which may be renewable once, with the agreement of the director of the establishment and after receiving the opinion of the practitioner responsible for the internship.

A l’issue du choix et lorsqu’il reste des postes d’internes ou de résidents vacants, les étudiants de troisième cycle des études de médecine et de pharmacie et les anciens résidents qui viennent de terminer leur cursus peuvent, sur leur demande, accomplir un semestre supplémentaire, renouvelable éventuellement une fois, après accord du directeur de l’établissement et après avis du praticien responsable du stage.
