Hospital pharmacy students in the second year of the second cycle of pharmaceutical studies, in advanced training, participate in hospital activities under the conditions defined by this section.

During the third short cycle of pharmaceutical studies, pharmacy students, provided that they participate in hospital activities, also have the status of pharmacy hospital students.

Hospital pharmacy students receive remuneration, under the conditions laid down in article R. 6153-90, from the university hospital centre to which they are attached, which is bound by an agreement with the training and research unit in which they are registered under the conditions defined by this section.

In this capacity, they have the status of public servants and are, in particular, subject to professional secrecy and the obligation of professional discretion with regard to all facts, information or documents of which they become aware in the course of their hospital activities.

During the second year of the second cycle, hospital pharmacy students have the opportunity to complete a period of study abroad under agreements concluded by the university, as well as one or two research placements as part of a personalised programme, in accordance with the procedures laid down by order of the ministers responsible for higher education, health and, where applicable, defence.

If a student repeats the second year of the second cycle or the short third cycle, they only have to repeat the unvalidated placements for the year they have repeated.

Les étudiants hospitaliers en pharmacie de la deuxième année du deuxième cycle des études pharmaceutiques, en formation approfondie, participent à l’activité hospitalière dans les conditions définies par la présente section.

Au cours du troisième cycle court des études pharmaceutiques, les étudiants en pharmacie, sous réserve qu’ils participent à l’activité hospitalière, ont également la qualité d’étudiants hospitaliers en pharmacie.

Les étudiants hospitaliers en pharmacie perçoivent, dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 6153-90, une rémunération versée par le centre hospitalier universitaire de rattachement lié par convention à l’unité de formation et de recherche dans laquelle ils sont inscrits dans les conditions définies par la présente section.

A ce titre, ils ont la qualité d’agent public et sont notamment soumis au secret professionnel et à l’obligation de discrétion professionnelle pour tous les faits, informations ou documents dont ils ont connaissance à l’occasion de l’exercice de leur activité hospitalière.

Au cours de la deuxième année du deuxième cycle, les étudiants hospitaliers en pharmacie ont la possibilité d’accomplir une période d’études à l’étranger dans le cadre de conventions conclues par l’université ainsi qu’un ou deux stages de recherche dans le cadre d’un parcours personnalisé, selon des modalités fixées par arrêté des ministres chargés de l’enseignement supérieur, de la santé et, le cas échéant, de la défense.

En cas de redoublement de la deuxième année du deuxième cycle ou du troisième cycle court, les étudiants n’accomplissent à nouveau que les stages non validés afférents à l’année redoublée.
