Article R6154-1 of the French Public Health Code

The participation by a hospital practitioner in an external activity of general interest for the maximum period provided for by article R. 6152-30 is exclusive of the exercise of any self-employed activity.

If the duration of the general interest activity actually carried out is less than the ceiling set by the aforementioned provisions, the practitioner may be authorised to carry out a self-employed activity for an appropriately reduced period.

Article R6154-1

La participation par un praticien hospitalier à une activité extérieure d’intérêt général pour la durée maximale prévue par l’article R. 6152-30 est exclusive de l’exercice de toute activité libérale.

Dans le cas où la durée d’activité d’intérêt général effectivement exercée est inférieure au plafond fixé par les dispositions susmentionnées, le praticien peut être autorisé à exercer une activité libérale pour une durée réduite à due concurrence.
