Article R6154-1 of the French Public Health Code

The participation by a hospital practitioner in an external activity of general interest for the maximum period provided for by article R. 6152-30 is exclusive of the exercise of any self-employed activity. If the duration of the general interest activity actually carried out is less than the ceiling set by the aforementioned provisions, the practitioner may be authorised to carry out a self-employed activity for an appropriately reduced period.
