Article R6154-25 of the French Public Health Code

Notwithstanding the provisions of articles R. 6152-37 to R. 6152-39, hospital practitioners who are self-employed are compensated under the following conditions in the event of illness not attributable to the service:

1° During their sick leave, three months at two thirds of their emoluments and nine months at one third ;

2° During long-term sick leave, one year at two-thirds of their salary and two years at one-third of their salary;

3° During their long-term leave, three years at two-thirds of their emoluments and two years at one-third.

Par dérogation aux dispositions des articles R. 6152-37 à R. 6152-39, les praticiens hospitaliers qui exercent une activité libérale sont indemnisés dans les conditions suivantes en cas de maladie non imputable au service :

1° Pendant leurs congés de maladie, trois mois aux deux tiers de leurs émoluments et neuf mois au tiers ;

2° Pendant leurs congés de longue maladie, un an aux deux tiers de leurs émoluments et deux ans au tiers ;

3° Pendant leurs congés de longue durée, trois ans aux deux tiers de leurs émoluments et deux ans au tiers.
