Article R621-14 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

In the event that the foreign national has been recognised as a refugee or stateless person, or has been granted the benefit of subsidiary protection in France and remains under the protection of France, the French administrative authority which granted him or her long-term resident – EU status will inform the State which issued the removal decision, within a maximum period of one month following the date on which it was consulted. The foreign national and, where applicable, his/her spouse and minor children are then readmitted to France.

Dans le cas où l’étranger s’est vu reconnaître la qualité de réfugié ou d’apatride, ou s’est vu accorder le bénéfice de la protection subsidiaire en France et qu’il demeure sous la protection de la France, l’autorité administrative française qui lui a accordé le statut de résident de longue durée – UE en informe l’Etat auteur de la décision d’éloignement, dans un délai maximal d’un mois suivant la date à laquelle elle a été consultée. L’étranger ainsi que, le cas échéant, son conjoint et ses enfants mineurs sont alors réadmis en France.
