Article R6225-2 of the French Labour Code

If the departments referred to in article R. 6225-1 find that an apprenticeship supervisor, other than the employer, has failed to comply with the obligations laid down in the apprenticeship contract or no longer meets the required character requirements, the labour inspector will give the employer formal notice to appoint another apprenticeship supervisor and to inform the body responsible for filing the contract of his full name and professional qualifications.

Lorsqu’il est constaté, par les services mentionnés à l’article R. 6225-1, qu’un maître d’apprentissage, autre que l’employeur, méconnaît les obligations mises à sa charge par le contrat d’apprentissage ou ne présente plus les garanties de moralité requises, l’agent de contrôle de l’inspection du travail met l’employeur en demeure de désigner un autre maître d’apprentissage et d’informer de ses nom, prénoms et compétences professionnelles, l’organisme chargé du dépôt du contrat.
