Article R6227-2 of the French Labour Code

Employing an apprentice for work in excess of eight hours per day or the legal weekly working hours set by article L. 3121-27 of the French Labour Code and article L. 713-2 of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code, in breach of the provisions of article L. 6222-25, is punishable by a fourth-class fine.

Le fait d’employer un apprenti à un travail effectif excédant huit heures par jour ou la durée légale hebdomadaire fixée par l’article L. 3121-27 du code du travail et par l’article L. 713-2 du code rural et de la pêche maritime, en méconnaissance des dispositions de l’article L. 6222-25, est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la quatrième classe.
