Article R6312-45 of the French Public Health Code

The persons making up the crews of the vehicles of approved civil security associations belong to the following categories:

1° Holders of the ambulance driver’s state diploma instituted by the minister responsible for health;

2° Persons holding the “level 2 team first aid” teaching unit provided for by the order mentioned inarticle 10 of decree no. 91-834 of 30 August 1991 as amended relating to first aid training;

3° Persons :

a) Either holders of the “level 1 team first aid” teaching unit provided for by the decree referred to in article 10 of the decree referred to in 2° ;

b) Either holders of the “level 1 civic prevention and first aid” teaching unit provided for by the decree mentioned in article 1 of the same decree, or the health auxiliary card;

c) Or belonging to one of the professions regulated in books I and III of part IV of this code;

4° Ambulance drivers.

Those concerned must hold a category B driving licence and possess a certificate issued by the Prefect, following a medical examination carried out under the conditions defined in articles R. 221-10 and R. 221-11 of the Highway Code. They must not be among the drivers mentioned in the provisions of I of article R. 413-5 and 1° of article R. 413-6 of the same code.

Article R6312-45

Les personnes composant les équipages des véhicules des associations agréées de sécurité civile appartiennent aux catégories suivantes :

1° Titulaires du diplôme d’Etat d’ambulancier institué par le ministre chargé de la santé ;

2° Personnes titulaires de l’unité d’enseignement “ premiers secours en équipe de niveau 2 ” prévue par l’arrêté mentionné à l’article 10 du décret n° 91-834 du 30 août 1991 modifié relatif à la formation aux premiers secours ;

3° Personnes :

a) Soit titulaires de l’unité d’enseignement “ premiers secours en équipe de niveau 1 ” prévue par l’arrêté mentionné à l’article 10 du décret mentionné au 2° ;

b) Soit titulaires de l’unité d’enseignement “ prévention et secours civiques de niveau 1 ” prévue par l’arrêté mentionné à l’article 1er du même décret, ou de la carte d’auxiliaire sanitaire ;

c) Soit appartenant à une des professions réglementées aux livres Ier et III de la partie IV du présent code ;

4° Conducteurs d’ambulance.

Les intéressés sont titulaires du permis de conduire de catégorie B et possèdent une attestation délivrée par le préfet, après examen médical effectué dans les conditions définies aux articles R. 221-10 et R. 221-11 du code de la route. Ils ne doivent pas être au nombre des conducteurs mentionnés aux dispositions du I de l’article R. 413-5 et du 1° de l’article R. 413-6 du même code.
