Article R6361-2 of the French Labour Code

The enforcement officers mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 6361-5 are commissioned by :
1° The regional prefect when they operate within the boundaries of a region;
2° The minister responsible for vocational training when they are required to operate throughout France.

Les agents de contrôle mentionnés au premier alinéa de l’article L. 6361-5 sont commissionnés par :
1° Le préfet de région lorsqu’ils interviennent dans les limites d’une région ;
2° Le ministre chargé de la formation professionnelle lorsqu’ils ont vocation à intervenir sur l’ensemble du territoire.
