Article R6362-1 of the French Labour Code

The persons and bodies referred to in articles L. 6361-1 and L. 6361-2, which have been subject to an on-site inspection, are informed of the end of the investigation period by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
New facts discovered after receipt of this letter may justify the opening of a new investigation period.

The preceding provisions do not apply when the ex officio assessment procedure is implemented.

Les personnes et organismes mentionnés aux articles L. 6361-1 et L. 6361-2, qui ont fait l’objet d’un contrôle sur place, sont informés de la fin de la période d’instruction par lettre recommandée avec avis de réception.
Des faits nouveaux constatés postérieurement à la réception de cette lettre peuvent justifier l’ouverture d’une nouvelle période d’instruction.

Les dispositions qui précèdent ne s’appliquent pas lorsque la procédure d’évaluation d’office est mise en œuvre.
