Article R6523-17 of the French Labour Code

In addition to the powers vested in the regional committee by articles R. 6123-3 to R. 6123-3-2, the committee in each of the local authorities mentioned in article R. 6523-15 is responsible for :

a) Issuing an opinion on the regional charter or plan for preventing and combating illiteracy drawn up under the aegis of the Prefect and the President of the Regional Council in Guadeloupe and La Réunion, the Prefect and the President of the Assembly in French Guyana or the Prefect and the President of the Executive Council in Martinique ;

b) To examine any issue relating to mobile employment and vocational training.

Article R6523-17

Outre les attributions dévolues au comité régional par les articles R. 6123-3 à R. 6123-3-2, le comité de chacune des collectivités mentionnées à l’article R. 6523-15 est chargé :

a) D’émettre un avis sur la charte ou le plan régional de prévention et de lutte contre l’illettrisme établi sous l’égide du préfet et du président du conseil régional en Guadeloupe et à La Réunion, du préfet et du président de l’assemblée en Guyane ou du préfet et du président du conseil exécutif en Martinique ;

b) D’examiner toute question relative à l’emploi et à la formation professionnelle en mobilité.
