Article R714-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The indications mentioned in 1° of Article R. 714-2 shall be recorded at the initiative of the National Institute of Industrial Property or, in the case of a court decision, at the request of the Registrar or at the request of one of the parties.

Only final court decisions may be entered in the National Register of Trademarks.

Les indications mentionnées au 1° de l’article R. 714-2 sont inscrites à l’initiative de l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle ou, s’il s’agit d’une décision judiciaire, sur réquisition du greffier ou sur requête de l’une des parties.

Seules les décisions judiciaires définitives peuvent être inscrites au Registre national des marques.
