Article R715-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The regulations governing use referred to in article L. 715-6 shall include:

1° The name of the proprietor of the trade mark;

2° The purpose of the association, grouping or legal person governed by public law that is the proprietor of the trade mark;

3° The bodies authorised to represent the association, grouping or legal person governed by public law;

4° In the case of an association or grouping, the conditions of membership;

5° The representation of the trade mark;

6° The goods or services covered by the trade mark;

7° The persons authorised to use the trade mark;

8° The conditions of use of the trade mark, including sanctions.

The regulations for use are published in the Official Industrial Property Bulletin. Any amended regulations for use submitted by the proprietor of the mark to the National Institute of Industrial Property shall be entered in the National Register of Marks after verification of their compliance with the provisions of this Article.

Le règlement d’usage mentionné à l’article L. 715-6 comprend :

1° Le nom du titulaire de la marque ;

2° L’objet de l’association, du groupement ou de la personne morale de droit public titulaire de la marque ;

3° Les organismes habilités à représenter l’association, le groupement ou la personne morale de droit public ;

4° Dans le cas d’une association ou d’un groupement, les conditions d’affiliation ;

5° La représentation de la marque ;

6° Les produits ou services visés par la marque ;

7° Les personnes autorisées à utiliser la marque ;

8° Les conditions d’usage de la marque, y compris les sanctions.

Le règlement d’usage est publié au Bulletin officiel de la propriété industrielle. Tout règlement d’usage modifié soumis par le titulaire de la marque à l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle est inscrit au registre national des marques après vérification de sa conformité aux dispositions du présent article.
