An ethics committee, attached to the National Council of Commercial Courts, is responsible for promoting the proper application of the ethical principles inherent in the performance of the duties of commercial court judges.
To this end, it is responsible for:
1° Giving opinions on any ethical issue personally concerning a judge of a commercial court, upon referral by the latter, the presidents of the commercial courts or the first presidents of the courts of appeal;
2° Issuing recommendations likely to enlighten the judges of the commercial courts on the ethical obligations and good practices that apply to them in the exercise of their activities.
The College of Ethics shall make public, in anonymous form, the opinions and recommendations that it deems likely to enlighten all commercial court judges.
