A Platform Players’ Council is attached to the Employment Platforms Labour Relations Authority.
It is made up of:
1° Representatives of the organisations of platforms mentioned in Article L. 7343-24 ;
2° Representatives of the organisations of platform workers mentioned in Article L. 7343-4;
3° Representatives of associations for the defence of consumers and transport users;
4° Representatives of professional customers using the services offered by the platforms;
5° Representatives of associations of local elected representatives;
6° Qualified figures in the field of digital technology, transport and social dialogue from the economic sector, the academic sector, or involved in the development of digital technology at local, national or European level.
A joint order by the Minister of Labour and the Minister of Transport defines the number of seats to be allocated to each category of members listed above. The representation of the organisations, associations and customers mentioned in 1° to 5 is limited to two people for each of them.
A joint order by the same ministers appoints the members of the Platform Stakeholder Council for a period of four years. The representatives mentioned in 1° to 5° are appointed on the proposal of the organisations, associations or professional customers concerned.
The general manager of the institution, the members of the board of directors, the budget controller and any other person whose presence the chairman of the board of directors deems useful may attend meetings of the council.
The mandate of the members of the Platform Players’ Council is exercised free of charge.
