Article R744-20 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

To enable foreign nationals held in an administrative detention centre to exercise their rights effectively, the minister responsible for immigration will enter into an agreement with one or more legal entities whose mission is to inform foreign nationals and help them exercise their rights. To this end, the legal entity will provide information services in each centre in which it is responsible for intervening, by organising duty offices and making documentation available.
These services will be provided by a single legal entity per centre.
The foreign nationals detained will benefit from them without formality under the conditions set out in the internal regulations.

Article R744-20
