Article R761-5 of the French Commercial code

The market manager draws up an annual report under the conditions provided for in article L. 1411-3 of the Code général des collectivités territoriales and forwards it to the communes and the établissements publics de coopération intercommunale on whose territory the market is located, to the regional council and to the prefect.

The projected profit and loss account, provided for in article L. 761-3, is produced in the same way.

Where the operator carries out activities other than operating the national interest market, it shall keep separate accounts relating, on the one hand, to the said operation and, on the other hand, to its other activities.

The Minister responsible for agriculture shall lay down by decree the conditions under which producers, market operators and, where applicable, managers shall provide him with economic and statistical information relating to transactions on products marketed on the market.

Le gestionnaire du marché établit un rapport annuel dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 1411-3 du code général des collectivités territoriales et le transmet aux communes et aux établissements publics de coopération intercommunale sur le territoire desquels est implanté le marché, au conseil régional et au préfet.

Le compte de résultat prévisionnel, prévu à l’article L. 761-3, est produit selon les mêmes modalités.

Lorsque le gestionnaire exerce d’autres activités que l’exploitation du marché d’intérêt national, il tient des comptes séparés relatifs, d’une part, à ladite exploitation, d’autre part, à ses autres activités.

Le ministre chargé de l’agriculture fixe par arrêté les conditions dans lesquelles les producteurs, les opérateurs du marché et, le cas échéant, les gestionnaires lui fournissent des informations économiques et statistiques relatives aux transactions sur les produits commercialisés sur le marché.
