Article R8112-1 of the French Labour Code

In implementing the labour inspection actions provided for in Article L. 8112-1, the labour inspection inspector contributes, in particular, to the prevention of occupational risks, as well as to the improvement of working conditions and industrial relations.

In addition to carrying out these main duties, they contribute to carrying out the tasks of the Regional Directorate for Business, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labour and Employment, with regard to labour, employment and vocational training policies.

Dans la mise en œuvre des actions d’inspection du travail prévues à l’article L. 8112-1, l’agent de contrôle de l’inspection du travail contribue, notamment, à la prévention des risques professionnels, ainsi qu’à l’amélioration des conditions de travail et des relations sociales.

Outre l’exercice de ces attributions principales, il concourt à l’exécution des missions de la direction régionale des entreprises, de la concurrence, de la consommation, du travail et de l’emploi, en ce qui concerne les politiques du travail, de l’emploi et de la formation professionnelle.
