Article R8124-9 of the French Labour Code

All agents shall report on their actions to the authority vested with hierarchical power in accordance with the procedures defined by the administration, in particular those concerning the sharing, in the information system provided for this purpose, of information relating to their actions and to the undertakings inspected.

These obligations apply to medical labour inspectors, subject to information covered by professional secrecy under Articles R. 4127-4 and R. 4127-104 of the Public Health Code.

Tout agent rend compte de ses actions à l’autorité investie du pouvoir hiérarchique suivant les modalités définies par l’administration, notamment celles concernant le partage, dans le système d’information prévu à cet effet, des informations relatives à ses actions et aux entreprises contrôlées.

Ces obligations s’appliquent aux médecins inspecteurs du travail sous réserve des informations couvertes par le secret professionnel en vertu des articles R. 4127-4 et R. 4127-104 du code de la santé publique.
