Article R821-51 of the French Commercial code

The regional council of statutory auditors sits in the principal town of the court of appeal and is designated by the name of that principal town.

When regional companies are grouped together pursuant to the third paragraph of article L. 821-6, the regional council of the resulting company sits in one of the chief towns of the courts of appeal within its jurisdiction. This seat and the name of the regional company are determined by order of the Minister of Justice, after consultation with the national company and the regional companies concerned.
The regional council may, in exceptional circumstances, sit in another location within the jurisdiction of the court of appeal or one of the courts of appeal to which it belongs, with the agreement of the heads of court.

Le conseil régional des commissaires aux comptes siège au chef-lieu de la cour d’appel et il est désigné par le nom de ce chef-lieu.

Lorsqu’il est procédé à des regroupements de compagnies régionales en application du troisième alinéa de l’article L. 821-6, le conseil régional de la compagnie qui en résulte siège à l’un des chefs-lieux des cours d’appel de son ressort. Ce siège ainsi que le nom de la compagnie régionale sont fixés par arrêté du garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, après avis de la Compagnie nationale et après consultation, par cette dernière, des compagnies régionales intéressées.

Le conseil régional peut, à titre exceptionnel, siéger dans un autre lieu du ressort de la cour d’appel ou de l’une des cours d’appel dont il dépend, avec l’accord des chefs de cour.
