Article R8221-2 of the French Labour Code

At the request of the control officers mentioned in article L. 8271-7, for the application of the provisions of 1° of article L. 8221-5, the employer shall produce the notice of receipt provided for in article R. 1221-7 if he is still required to keep it pursuant to article R. 1221-8 or, until he has received this notice, the information enabling them to verify that he has made the declaration prior to hiring the employee.

Article R8221-2

Sur demande des agents de contrôle mentionnés à l’article L. 8271-7, pour l’application des dispositions du 1° de l’article L. 8221-5, l’employeur produit l’avis de réception prévu à l’article R. 1221-7 s’il est encore tenu de le conserver en application de l’article R. 1221-8 ou, tant qu’il n’a pas reçu cet avis, les éléments leur permettant de vérifier qu’il a procédé à la déclaration préalable à l’embauche du salarié.
