Article R8252-11 of the French Labour Code

When a criminal court has handed down a final decision convicting a person of knowingly using the services of an employer of a foreign national not authorised to work, the court registry will send a copy of the decision to the Director General of the French Office for Immigration and Integration, to enable him/her to implement the financial solidarity provided for in Article L. 8254-2-2.

Lorsqu’une juridiction correctionnelle a prononcé une décision définitive condamnant une personne pour avoir recouru sciemment aux services d’un employeur d’un étranger non autorisé à travailler, le greffe transmet une copie de la décision au directeur général de l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration, afin de lui permettre de procéder à la mise en œuvre de la solidarité financière prévue à l’article L. 8254-2-2.
