Article R96 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The requisition, either to the railway company or to the valet, must be drawn up in two copies, one of which is given to the clerk responsible for settling the costs of the proceedings and the other to the railway company or to the valet, for them to produce in support of their brief.

La réquisition, soit à la compagnie de chemin de fer, soit au voiturier, doit être établie en deux exemplaires dont l’un est remis au greffier chargé de la liquidation des frais du procès et l’autre à la compagnie de chemin de fer ou au voiturier, pour qu’ils le produisent à l’appui de leur mémoire.
