Article 197-1 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

In the event of an appeal against an order dismissing the case, the assisted witness may, through his lawyer, make his observations before the investigating chamber. The interested party and his lawyer shall be notified of the date of the hearing in accordance with the provisions of article 197.

En cas d’appel d’une ordonnance de non-lieu, le témoin assisté peut, par l’intermédiaire de son avocat, faire valoir ses observations devant la chambre de l’instruction. La date de l’audience est notifiée à l’intéressé et à son avocat conformément aux dispositions de l’article 197.
