Article 211-148 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

At each committee meeting, the co-chairmen shall decide which of them shall have the casting vote in the event of a tie.
If one of the co-chairmen is absent, he shall be replaced by another member of the committee concerned, whether a full member or an alternate. The co-chairman present at the meeting has the casting vote in the event of a tie.

Lors de chaque session d’une commission, les coprésidents décident de celui d’entre eux qui aura voix prépondérante en cas de partage égal des voix.
En cas d’absence de l’un des coprésidents, il est remplacé par un autre membre de la commission concernée, qu’il soit titulaire ou suppléant. Le coprésident présent à la séance a voix prépondérante en cas de partage égal des voix.
