Article 231-15 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

For the application of the multiplying factors, only cinemas in cinemas with an average of at least 32 weeks of activity per year during the reference period are taken into account.
By way of derogation from the previous paragraph, in the event of the opening of new cinemas, cinemas in activity during the 26 weeks preceding the end of the reference period are taken into account.

Pour l’application des coefficients multiplicateurs, sont seules prises en compte les salles des établissements de spectacles cinématographiques justifiant d’au moins 32 semaines cinématographiques d’activité par an en moyenne, au cours de la période de référence.
Par dérogation à l’alinéa précédent, en cas d’ouverture de nouvelles salles, sont prises en compte les salles en activité au cours des 26 semaines cinématographiques précédant la fin de la période de référence.
