Article 312-7 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Diplomas awarded on completion of one of the following courses are considered as artistic training for authors:
1° Training provided :
a) From a French or European higher art school;
b) From any school that is a member of the network of French animation film schools (RECA);
2° Initial training specialising in audiovisual writing or directing provided by a French or European university or school;
Other diplomas may also be accepted if they are relevant to the audiovisual training provided, with the exception of those awarded on completion of a course in communication, management, marketing or audiovisual production.

Article 312-7

Sont retenus au titre de la formation artistique des auteurs, les diplômes sanctionnant l’une des formations suivantes :
1° Une formation dispensée :
a) Par une école supérieure d’art, française ou européenne ;
b) Par toute école membre du réseau des écoles françaises de cinéma d’animation (RECA) ;
2° Une formation initiale spécialisée dans l’écriture ou la mise en scène audiovisuelle dispensée par une université ou une école, française ou européenne ;
Peuvent également être retenus d’autres diplômes eu égard à la pertinence de la formation audiovisuelle dispensée, à l’exception de ceux sanctionnant un cursus en communication, en management, en marketing ou en production audiovisuelle.
