Article 59 octodecies of the French Customs Code

Customs officers and officers placed under the authority of the Minister for Industry or the Minister for Defence and tasked with implementing the Paris Convention of 13 January 1993 on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction, as well as the staff of entities acting on their behalf or assisting them, may disclose to each other, spontaneously or on request, any information or documents held or collected in the course of their respective duties.

Les agents des douanes et les agents placés sous l’autorité du ministre chargé de l’industrie ou du ministre de la défense et ayant pour mission la mise en œuvre de la convention de Paris du 13 janvier 1993 sur l’interdiction de la mise au point, de la fabrication, du stockage et de l’emploi des armes chimiques et sur leur destruction ainsi que les personnels des entités agissant pour leur compte ou les assistant peuvent se communiquer, spontanément ou sur demande, tous les renseignements ou tous les documents détenus ou recueillis dans l’exercice de leurs missions respectives.
