Article 628-8 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Chapter II of Title XXV of this Book IV, with the exception of Articles 706-88-1 and 706-88-2, shall apply to the investigation, prosecution and trial of crimes falling within the scope of l’article 628.

For the application of the sixth paragraph of Article 706-88, the intervention of the lawyer may be deferred for a maximum period of seventy-two hours.

Le chapitre II du titre XXV du présent livre IV, à l’exception des articles 706-88-1 et 706-88-2, est applicable à l’enquête, la poursuite et l’instruction des crimes entrant dans le champ d’application de l’article 628.

Pour l’application du sixième alinéa de l’article 706-88, l’intervention de l’avocat peut être différée pendant une durée maximale de soixante-douze heures.
