Article 67 D-2 of the French Customs Code

In the event of a traffic control, the taxpayer may only benefit from the written procedure provided for in article 67 D once he has guaranteed the amount of the tax due.

En cas de contrôle à la circulation, le redevable ne peut bénéficier de la procédure écrite prévue à l’article 67 D qu’après avoir garanti le montant de la taxation encourue.
