For the application of the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft, signed at The Hague on 16 December 1970, the Supplementary Protocol to the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft, done at Beijing on 10 September 2010, the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Civil Aviation, signed in Montreal on 23 September 1971, and the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against International Civil Aviation, done at Beijing on 10 September 2010, may be prosecuted and tried under the conditions provided for in Article 689-1 any person guilty of any of the following offences:
1° Any offence concerning an aircraft not registered in France and listed in Article 1 of the aforementioned Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft and any other act of violence directed against passengers or crew and committed by the alleged perpetrator of these offences, in direct connection therewith;
2° Any offence concerning an aircraft not registered in France and listed in a, b and c of 1° of Article 1 of the aforementioned Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Civil Aviation;
3° Any offence listed in Article 1 of the aforementioned Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against International Civil Aviation.
