Article 696-72 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

When it intends to oppose one of the grounds for refusal provided for in 1° to 3° of Article 696-73 or 2° of Article 696-74, the liberty and custody judge shall inform the competent authority of the issuing State, if the public prosecutor has not already done so, and shall allow it a maximum of ten days to provide any additional information that may be required.

Lorsqu’il envisage d’opposer l’un des motifs de refus prévus aux 1° à 3° de l’article 696-73 ou au 2° de l’article 696-74, le juge des libertés et de la détention en informe l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’émission si le procureur de la République ne l’a pas déjà fait et lui impartit un délai maximal de dix jours afin de lui permettre de fournir, le cas échéant, toutes informations supplémentaires.
