Article 713-19 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Where the criminal court considers refusing to enforce a confiscation order on the basis of one of the grounds referred to in 1°, 3° and 7° of article 713-20 or article 713-22, it shall, before taking a decision, notify the competent authority of the issuing State and give it an opportunity to comment.

Lorsque le tribunal correctionnel envisage de refuser l’exécution d’une décision de confiscation sur le fondement de l’un des motifs visés aux 1°, 3° et 7° de l’article 713-20 ou à l’article 713-22, il en avise, avant de statuer, l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’émission et la met à même de produire ses observations.
