I.-When a convicted person serving one or more custodial sentences has not been able to benefit from a measure of release on parole or conditional release under the conditions provided for in Articles 720 and 730-3, the sentence enforcement judge may, for the sole purpose of promoting the integration or reintegration of the sentenced person and preventing the commission of further offences, order that a sentenced person who has benefited from reductions in sentence under article 721 be subject, after his release and for a period which may not exceed the total reductions in sentence he has benefited from, to one or more of:
1° The supervision measures provided for in Article 132-44 of the Criminal Code;
2° Of the prohibitions provided for in 2° and 7° to 14° of l’article 132-45 du même code.
The convicted person may also benefit, during this period, from the assistance measures provided for in article 132-46 of the said code.
This decision is taken, in accordance with the procedures set out in article 712-6 of this code, prior to the sentenced person’s release, where applicable at the same time as the last sentence reduction is granted.
If the sentenced person fails to comply with the supervision measures and prohibitions imposed, the sentence enforcement judge may, in accordance with the procedures set out in the same article 712-6, withdraw all or part of the period of sentence reductions from which he or she has benefited and order his or her re-incarceration. The articles 712-17 and 712-19 shall apply.
II.-In all cases, the sentence enforcement judge may, in accordance with the procedures set out in article 712-6, order that a convicted offender who has benefited from the reductions in sentence set out in article 721 be subject, after his release, to a ban on receiving the civil party or the victim, meeting them or having contact with them in any way whatsoever, for a period that may not exceed the total reductions in sentence that he has benefited from. This decision is taken prior to the convicted offender’s release, where applicable at the same time as the last sentence reduction is granted.
The prohibition mentioned in the first paragraph of this II may be accompanied by an obligation to compensate the civil party.
In the event of non-compliance by the convicted person with the obligations and prohibitions imposed on him, the sentence enforcement judge may, in accordance with the procedures set out in article 712-6, withdraw all or part of the duration of the reductions in sentence from which he has benefited and order his re-incarceration. Articles 712-17 and 712-19 apply.
