Article 748-2 of the French Code of civil procedure

The recipient of the mailings, deliveries and notifications referred to in Article 748-1 must expressly consent to the use of electronic means, unless special provisions require the use of this method of communication.

Consent within the meaning of the preceding paragraph means membership by a court officer, assisting or representing a party, of an electronic communication network as defined by an order made pursuant to Article 748-6.

Le destinataire des envois, remises et notifications mentionnés à l’article 748-1 doit consentir expressément à l’utilisation de la voie électronique, à moins que des dispositions spéciales n’imposent l’usage de ce mode de communication.

Vaut consentement au sens de l’alinéa précédent l’adhésion par un auxiliaire de justice, assistant ou représentant une partie, à un réseau de communication électronique tel que défini par un arrêté pris en application de l’article 748-6.
