Article 75 of the French Customs Code

1. All goods imported across land borders must be brought immediately to the next customs office by the most direct route designated by order of the Prefect.

2. They may not be brought into houses or other buildings until they have been taken to the office; they may not leave the office without a permit.

1. Toutes les marchandises importées par les frontières terrestres doivent être aussitôt conduites au plus prochain bureau de douane par la route la plus directe désignée par arrêté du préfet.

2. Elles ne peuvent être introduites dans les maisons ou autres bâtiments avant d’avoir été conduites au bureau ; elles ne peuvent dépasser celui-ci sans permis.
