The professional bodies referred to in article L. 111-7 collect relevant and accurate actuarial and statistical data covering the insurance risks concerned. These bodies may also compile data published by other bodies, in particular the Institut de recherche et de documentation en économie de la santé or the Direction de la recherche, des études, de l’évaluation et des statistiques or the compulsory health insurance bodies or the Institut des données de santé or the Institut national de la statistique et des études économiques or the Institut de veille sanitaire or the Statistical Office of the European Communities or the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
These statistical and actuarial data are sent by the professional bodies by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt addressed to the Minister for the Economy and the Minister for Social Security.
If these data have already been published, the decrees authorising differences in premiums and benefits based on gender may refer to this publication. Failing this, the data will be appended to the authorisation orders or published on the website of the Ministry of the Economy.
