Article A212-103 of the French Sports Code

The common part of the “brevet d’Etat d’éducateur sportif” is obtained:
1° Either by passing an examination;
2° Or at the end of a training course under the responsibility of the Minister for Sports and assessed by continuous assessment of knowledge. Candidates for this training must pass one or more selection tests;
3° Or on presentation of one or more qualifications attesting to the same abilities.

Article A212-103

La partie commune du brevet d’Etat d’éducateur sportif s’obtient :
1° Soit par la réussite à un examen ;
2° Soit à l’issue d’une formation relevant du ministre chargé des sports et évaluée en contrôle continu des connaissances. Le candidat à cette formation subit une ou plusieurs épreuves de sélection ;
3° Soit sur présentation d’une ou plusieurs qualifications sanctionnant les mêmes capacités.
