The aptitude test, to which the Prefect may decide to subject the applicant in whole or in part, under the conditions laid down in article R. 212-90-1 and in 3° of article R. 212-93, verifies the applicant’s ability to supervise participants safely. It consists of two tests:
1° A technical safety test;
2° A test to verify theoretical and practical safety knowledge.
If the applicant is subject to both tests, the technical safety test is assessed first. In the event of failure, the declarant may not take the test to verify theoretical and practical safety knowledge.
The content of the aptitude test is set out in Annex II-16-3.
