Article A243-2 of the French Insurance Code

The supporting document provided for in article L. 243-2 must be signed by an insurer authorised to carry out direct insurance operations in the territory of the French Republic in accordance with the first five paragraphs of article L. 310-2 of the Insurance Code, or by an identified person duly authorised by the insurer.

Le document justificatif prévu à l’article L. 243-2 doit être signé par un assureur pouvant pratiquer des opérations d’assurance directes sur le territoire de la République française conformément aux cinq premiers alinéas de l’article L. 310-2 du, ou par une personne identifiée qu’il a dûment mandatée.
