Article A322-154 of the French Sports Code

With the exceptions provided for in article A. 322-150, 1° and article A. 322-151, the minimum height of the main canopy extractor jet is 850 metres.

Depending on the characteristics of the drop zone and the aerological conditions, the maximum wind speed on the ground may not exceed that set by the parachuting federation. In all cases, it may not exceed eleven metres per second.

Sauf exceptions prévues au 1° de l’article A. 322-150 et à l’article A. 322-151, la hauteur minimale du jet de l’extracteur de la voile principale est de 850 mètres.

En fonction des caractéristiques de la zone de sauts et des conditions aérologiques, la vitesse maximale du vent au sol ne peut excéder celle fixée par la fédération ayant reçu délégation pour le parachutisme. Dans tous les cas, elle ne peut excéder onze mètres par seconde.
