Article A322-155 of the French Sports Code

The operator must obtain permission from the landowner. The landing zone must be accessible to emergency services.

Prior to the first jump in the facility, jumpers receive training on the drop zone and its characteristics: prevailing winds, landing instructions, clearance zones, obstacles to avoid.

Several establishments may use the same landing zone. To this end, and prior to the start of the activities, if they do not use the same airborne resources, the federation which has been delegated for parachuting draws up a coordination protocol with regard to its technical and safety rules, which it communicates to the administrative authority.

Article A322-155
