Article A331-21-2 of the French Sports Code

Any natural or legal person applying for the approval of a circuit or for the renewal of this approval must compile a file which includes:

1° A layout plan of the circuit or a plan of the tracks used in compliance with the technical and safety rules mentioned in article R. 331-19 including, in particular, detailed plans of the areas reserved for spectators;

2° The type(s) of vehicle(s) authorised to use the said circuit;

3° The surname, first name and address of the applicant or the representative of the legal entity;

4° The measures planned to ensure personal safety and public peace and quiet.

The applicant must send one complete copy of the application for approval, including seven layout plans, to the administrative authority.

This application must be sent no later than two months before the date on which it is due to be used for the first time. Renewal applications must be submitted two months before the date on which the registration expires.

La personne physique ou morale qui demande l’homologation d’un circuit ou le renouvellement de cette homologation, doit constituer un dossier qui comprend :


1° Le plan masse du circuit ou un plan des voies utilisées conforme aux règles techniques et de sécurité mentionnées à l’article R. 331-19 comprenant, notamment, les plans détaillés des zones réservées aux spectateurs ;


2° Le ou les types de véhicules autorisés à utiliser ledit circuit ;


3° Les nom, prénom et adresse du demandeur ou du représentant de la personne morale ;


4° Les dispositions prévues pour assurer la sécurité des personnes et la tranquillité publique.


Le demandeur est tenu de transmettre en un exemplaire complet le dossier de demande d’homologation comprenant sept plan-masses à l’autorité administrative.


Cette demande est transmise, au plus tard, deux mois avant la date prévue pour sa première utilisation. La demande de renouvellement est transmise deux mois avant la date de fin de validité de l’homologation.
