Article A8 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The material organisation of the technical examination tests, which take place in one or more centres, is provided by the military personnel directorate of the national gendarmerie.

During the tests, candidates may only have access to:

codes (which may be annotated by the publisher, but not commented on);

printouts of the Official Journal (not commented on);

Candidates are prohibited under penalty of exclusion:

to hold printed or handwritten documents other than those referred to in the preceding paragraphs;

to use codes or printouts of the Official Journal highlighted, underlined, annotated or with tabs, even if blank.

Any fraud or attempted fraud in any of the tests will result in a report being drawn up by the invigilator and may lead to the candidate’s exclusion by the chair of the jury and, where appropriate, to the candidate being banned from taking the examination in subsequent years.

The envelope containing each composition subject is opened, in the presence of the candidates, at the beginning of the session assigned to the test.

Papers will be written solely on sheets of paper provided by the Gendarmerie Nationale’s military personnel department.

L’organisation matérielle des épreuves de l’examen technique qui se déroulent dans un ou plusieurs centres est assurée par la direction des personnels militaires de la gendarmerie nationale.

Lors des épreuves, les candidats ne peuvent disposer que :

-des codes (qui peuvent être annotés par l’éditeur, mais non commentés) ;

-des impressions du Journal officiel (non commenté) ;

-Il est interdit aux candidats sous peine d’exclusion :

-de détenir des documents imprimés ou manuscrits autres que ceux cités aux alinéas précédents ;

-d’utiliser des codes ou impressions du Journal officiel surligné, soulignés, annotés ou comportant des onglets, mêmes vierges.

Toute fraude ou tentative de fraude dans l’une des épreuves entraîne la rédaction d’un rapport par le surveillant et peut conduire à l’exclusion du candidat prononcée par le président du jury et le cas échéant, à lui interdire de se présenter à l’examen les années suivantes.

L’enveloppe renfermant chaque sujet de composition est décachetée, en présence des candidats, à l’ouverture de la séance affectée à l’épreuve.

Les compositions sont faites uniquement sur des feuilles fournies par la direction des personnels militaires de la gendarmerie nationale.
