Chapter I: Judicial police

The technical examination for judicial police officers of the national gendarmerie provided for in article R. 5 gendarmes with at least three years’ service in the gendarmerie on 1 January of the year of the examination.

The list of candidates admitted to sit the technical examination is drawn up by the Director of Military Personnel of the National Gendarmerie.

The rules governing access to the preparation and preparation of candidates for the technical examination are laid down by ministerial instruction.

The date of the technical examination and the test subjects are set by the commission provided for in article 16 (2° and 4°) of the present code on the proposal of the director of military personnel of the national gendarmerie.

In the month following the examination, the Chair will call a meeting of the Examining Board to establish marking standards and to allocate the papers to the markers. The anonymity of the papers is ensured by the use of a suitable technical procedure. The chairman of the jury sets the date by which the marked papers must be sent to the secretariat of the committee.
