Article A 1er of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

I.-Victims may file complaints electronically pursuant to articles 15-3-1 and D. 8-2-1 via the “Harmonised processing of investigations and alerts for e-scams” (THESEE) implemented by the General Directorate of the National Police, on the “www. service-public. fr” website, for the following offences:

a) Swindling, including if it is related to the offence of fraudulent access to an automated data processing system;

b) Blackmail;

c) Extortion related to the offence of hindering the operation of an automated data processing system or to the offence of fraudulent access to an automated data processing system.

I.-Les victimes peuvent déposer des plaintes par voie électronique en application des articles 15-3-1 et D. 8-2-1 par le biais du ” traitement harmonisé des enquêtes et des signalements pour les e-escroqueries ” (THESEE) mis en œuvre par la direction générale de la police nationale, sur le site ” www. service-public. fr “, pour les infractions suivantes :

a) Escroquerie y compris si elle est connexe à l’infraction d’accès frauduleux à un système de traitement automatisé de données ;

b) Chantage ;

c) Extorsion connexe à l’infraction d’entrave au fonctionnement d’un système de traitement automatisé de données ou à l’infraction d’accès frauduleux à un système de traitement automatisé de données.
